Cotter Cup

Rugby

Well done to our rugby teams.  The boys played well against some tough competition.  The Y3/4 Broncos won all of their games but lost out in the semi-finals against a stronger team, and the Y5/6 Warriors only managed to win one game but made some great plays and enjoyed the day.

Football

The footballers also had a great day, cruising through to the finals and finishing second overall.  They scored many great goals, even kicking home one mighty goal from the half way mark.  Congratulations to all the players on their tremendous efforts.

Anzac activities.

The day started with breakfast at school, a walk to the Cenotath to place our poppies, a visit to the park to see the soldier's memorial tree and a service at school after lunch. What a busy but memorable day.

Touch Rugby Champions

Well done to all our teams on a great season of touch rugby.  Our competitors played with great sportsmanship, always tried their best and made some big improvements to their skills over the past six weeks.

A special congratulations goes to the Firth Warriors.  They took out the year 5/6 competition by beating Matamata Primary in the final.  After a close start our players soon found their stride and stormed ahead to a comfortable lead.  The final score was 7 - 3.

Finally, we would like to thank all the wonderful helpers who supported our players with coaching, subbing and encouragement over the season.  Check out the photos of the Firth Warriors below.
