Senior Swimming Sports

What: Senior school swimming sports. Learners at 12.00 will be in the covered pool.

This is for students who are still mastering the skills of swimming.

Swimmers at 1 p.m. in the outdoor pool

Who: Students from R5, 6, 7, 8 & 10.

Where: Matamata Sports Centre

When: Thursday 23 February.

There appears an alarming trend for many of our families are arriving late for school school. This is not helpful for children's learning and is distributive to settled classes. We begin each day with daily exercise dex to sharpen the brain for learning. Please ensure you are enforcing good habits and have your learners at school by 8:45 am. no future employers will ever accept their future workers arriving 30 minutes late for work. Our electronic register clearly show us who are late to school and on what dates. Some repeat offenders can expect a letter from our school very soon. please help your learners to be on time every day.

The tag town has returned to Firth on Monday for the year 4-6 children to teach about keeping our enviroment beautiful.

Yesterday teams represented Firth in rugby and netball for the cotter cup and hockey for the PTA cup.

American hot dog lunch.
On Friday 1 July the Firth parent group will be running a american hot dog lunch for the school.
